Passions ~ Magic

The way I've always approached life is via those things I'm passionate about, some of which I'll be sharing with you now.
Magic has always featured in my life in many ways. I've always felt that there is magic surrounding each and every one of us & this connects us all, some cultures call this an aura.
When I was a young girl, my life was all about stories, books and fantasy. There was always something spectacularly magical in every story I was read or read myself. From the Christian Bible, to Aesops Fables, to Kipling, to Enid Blyton, these were stories and fables and lessons that all had a meaning behind them and all contained some element of magic and belief.
If you believe in something enough, you can make it happen. I've tried it over many years and its worked. You have to be focused and in a stable state of mind, but it works. A great example of that it The Secret, the infamous book and film, but in more recent years I discovered an author Stephen Richards who is one of only two Master Cosmic Ordering practitioners in the world at present. A concept which really resonates with me. Like ordering online, but with the universe. In many of Stephen's books he explains in detail the best ways to achieve your goals and dreams.
Other books I have dotted about currently are books like Spells, Charms, Talismans and Amulets by Pamela Ball. In this book you can discover, from a more Pagan/Wiccan perspective, how to achieve your goals and dreams by using a different type of ritual to the aforementioned. Gypsy Magic by Patrinella Cooper is also on a similar vein.
I have several books of herbal medicine, crystal healing, aromatherapy and other alternative medical healing as my mother has been poorly on and off since I was ten years old, it helped me help her and its also helped me. I used to find this quite enlightening, being able to help others, but I did learn recent to be careful who you're helping and what their motives are behind it. I'm a naturally trusting person and I judge everyone at face value, I'm beginning to learn that not everyone is who they initially seem and so I'm treading much more cautiously with people. I've been burnt many times and, in some cases, dealing with the consequences is a lifelong job.
Either way, as long as I can find magic in every small thing that I do, it'll create a natural magical aura for me and those connected to me to make the bigger changes happen.
Magic is my passion because it can change lives and if you believe in something enough, you can make it happen.
