My son, now 4, is now on his way to becoming an academic genius ;) I've recently had to "request" my choice of primary schools for him. That was a hard task, ensuring a school will cater for all his needs. Lots of traipsing around all the local schools (of the nearest and walkable there are at least 6). I think we're quite fortunate here to have such choices. Anyway, it's all been filed using the government website and I now have to wait until April to find out where they want to put him (and whether I can appeal their decision if it s not where I was hoping).
I've recently been introduced to steampunk culture and it's really captured my imagination, I'm hoping to post some odds and bits on here as I progress through my cultural education. I'm going to be making a robotic steampunk mask of sorts (was originally going to be just goggles, but I'm getting all excited and creative about this).
Also been looking at various job opportunities as I used to be a Personal Assistant before I had my son, it's a bit harder to find such work that's part time that'll fit with my son attending preschool or primary school when the time comes. We shall see...
Anyway, watch this space, I'll be adding more exciting things in the forthcoming weeks...
